Yangtaeks the theory of divination based on topography
In the theory of divination based on topography, we call the house that people living as Yangtaek, and call tomb of died as Eumtaek. Eumtaek and Yangtaek could deal with 24 directions, Jwa means the position of the place, Hyang means where it heads to. Yangtaek divided into Dongsataek and Seosataek, the composition of the house should put the importance on the gate, main room and kitchen, place them to auspicious direction. Dongsataek means Imjagye, Gapmyoeul, Jinsonsa and Byeongohjungjwa, and Seosataek means Jukganin, Migonsin, Gyeongyoosin and Sulgunhae’s Jwa. However, Yangtaek also need to inspect Pagu in the theory of divination based on topography just like Eumtaek, confirm the auspicious direction and unauspicious direction before selecting Jwa. And then, place the gate, front door, main room door and kitchen door heading to auspicious direction, and it is best to make the gate and doors heading Chundukpa or direction of the God’s virtue. Next Dongsataek should place the gate heading direction of the same 12Jwa, Seosataek is also the same. In Yangtaek, if you live in a house where the gate and doors heading Hwangchunsal, the power of the family will be weakened. Nowadays, people does not build a house or a building by inspecting auspicious direction, but build it based on the ground itself. However in old days, when people build a house, they built it to auspicious direction, make doors, dig a well. We could realize that they inspected strife and conflict of Eum-Yang and five elements which based on the theory of divination based on topography when we look at a old house.
